1972 Martin D28 Vintage Guitar
Dec 29th, 2021 at 13:02 Buy & sell Toronto 117 viewsSelling my 1972 Martin D28. The guitar is in excellent condition, no checking as is usual in older guitars and almost unheard of in a 50 year old guitar! The guitar had a neck reset a couple of years ago done at "The Twelfth Fret" in Toronto. The guitar has real low action and is easy to play. Several years back the pick guard was lifting as was common with guitars of this age and was replaced by The Twelfth Fret with a Martin pick guard, there were no cracks around the pick guard. The guitar does not have any cracks or repairs other than the pick guard replacement and the bridge pins that were also replaced (original pick guard and bridge pins still in the case). It also comes with the original case also in excellent condition. The guitar sounds excellent as one would expect with a 50 year old guitar and has that deep bass that the D28's were known for. The guitar really does look like the pics and you will not find another D28 in this condition anywhere. These guitars are getting harder to find and almost impossible in this condition. This guitar has always been kept in a properly humidified controlled room in its case. You will not be disappointed when you see it. I am asking $4200.00 firm, cash only, no trades and will not reply to any offers other than my asking price. This guitar will only go up in value. I do have a receipt for the work done at the “Twelfth Fret”.
