I've been an extremely successful High School Math and Science Tutor in Oakville for over 5 years. I've taught over 100 students 1-on-1 across every single high school in Oakville (including Catholic and Private Schools). Every single student that I have taught over the course of the semester, has made it into University. I've decided to open up tutoring to one or two more students as I have been busy all of COVID.

I've taught a student who came to me with a 32% in Physics and when I worked with him, he graduated with a final grade of 75%. I have taught not 1, but 3 students that have graduated with a 97% or higher in Calculus. The key takeaway here is that if your child puts in the effort, they are guaranteed similar results.

The specialty that I have is that I can efficiently tutor your child. I understand what gaps they have in your knowledge in one session. By understanding that, I will tell them exactly what to practice between our sessions so that when they come back, we can go over things that MATTER. And IF THEY PRACTICE, they will achieve outstanding results.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. --- Format ---

Tutoring will be done online using Google Meet.

2 --- MONEY BACK GUARANTEE ---

In order to take financial pressure off, I grant everyone a money back guarantee. This means the following: We will make a plan of what your child should be doing each week and I will be setting how often we should be meeting. If your child follows everything that I tell them to do and they still do not get a reasonably high grade, then I will refund between 50%-100% of what was paid

2.5 --- Rate ---

The first meeting will be free of charge.

Due to past demand, I have split my costs in the following way:

- Common Package: $100/hr

- Premium Package: $125/hr

- Both of these are non-negotiable. I have many students already.

However, do understand that I charge the amount I charge for a reason. I am equipping your child with skills to be more motivated, less lazy, and think critically, which is relevant not only to this course, but with life in general. In the end if you knew with certainty that your child would be significantly more successful after being with me, you would pay ANY amount of money for that!

3. --- Frequency of Payment ---

You can choose between Per session, weekly or biweekly

4. --- Doing Tests/Assignments ----

I will NOT be doing your assignments/tests FOR your child. That goes completely against my philosophy that I mentioned earlier and if you offer money for me to do their tests, I will promptly terminate our relationship. I tutor because I genuinely believe that I help students in a way other people can't, I not only get them the results that they need, but I also give you skills that they require for the rest of your life.

5. --- What I Will Offer ---

I have a certified textbook for every single course in Math and Physics and Chemistry as well as their solutions manual. This will help guide you into doing questions that you might expect in tests. Over the 5 years, I have collected a large number of past tests from a school that you possibly go to! We will practice with these.

I have a very simple philosophy when it comes to teaching: I do not tell them to memorize anything, I do not tell them to accept something the way it is. Learning requires genuine curiosity and critical thinking and if you can build that skill right now, then they will exponentially be set for life. So I always encourage them to ask lots of questions, ask WHY, and not only will they learn something new, but they will have a great time doing it!

7. --- Advice ---

I've been in their position many years ago but not too long ago! I have many contacts in many different programs and schools and if you ever need university advice or advice on anything, please let me know I'd be happy to help or connect you to someone that could help.

8. --- Cancellation Policy ---

I book students 1-on-1, one after the other so canceling is an immense pain since there will be a big gap in time between students. They must cancel within 6 hours of the meeting. If they do not show up to the session, you will be charged for however long we were scheduled to meet for. If they cancel anytime less than 6 hours, I will charge half of the scheduled session.
